Congress of Southeast Asian Librarians

What are critical issues in library education in Southeast Asian countries? I found interesting observations from a presentation by Prof. Oyler at Simmons College, U.S.A (available at http://dlist.sir.arizona.edu/702/). But I am interested in studying other views from the region as well. If you know journal articles, presentations or web pages about this topic, I would be grateful if you can share them with me and those having the same interest.
