Southeast Asian librarians are encouraged to participate in the Digital Futures Australasia which will be held in Sydney, Australia 1st - 5th February 2010.  The early bird registration (before 31st December 2009) is AU$ 2,150 and spaces are very limited. Regional Office for Asia and Oceania is calling for applications for small projects in Asia and Oceania funded by ALP. ALP supports projects in training and development in developing countries and emerging economies with an emphasis on capacity building and train-the-trainer or cascading delivery.

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Darussalam Library Association (BLA) began its first few series of customised library courses, according to a press release. The four-day `Cataloguing and Indexing' course, held at the SEAMED VOCTECH Centre in Gadong, is attended by several librarians from the Ministry of Health, Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and the Kg Tanjong Maya Secondary School.

CONSAL XIV General Conference to be held in Bali in 2012 PDF Print E-mail

The 15th CONSAL General Conference will be held in Indonesia's paradise city of Bali in 2012. The decision was made at the 1st meeting of CONSAL XV Executive Board members in Bandung in April, 2010.
