KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 18 (Bernama) -- Seven of the country's libraries will be the first in Malaysia to offer online book borrowing through a programme implemented under the Information Technology Strategic Plan 2010-2013 launched Thursday.Malaysian National Library (PNM) director-general Datuk Raslin Abu Bakar said the seven were the PNM as well as the Intan Bukit Kiara Library, Negeri Sembilan Public Library, Pahang Public Library, Kuala Lumpur Library, Selangor Library and the Sarawak State Library.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- The National Library will undertake a study as early as April this year to gauge the reading habit among Malaysians which is said to be still poor, according to Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim Friday.
