The Vietnam Organizing Committee of CONSAL XIV General Conference officially announced the Conference's Program and Proceeding at a press conference held in Hanoi yesterday. According the program, this regional conference convening over 800 delegates, including 300 foreign participants, will be officially open on April 21,2009 at Melia Hotel Hanoi with the presence of Vietnamese Vice State President.
Library Association of Singapore has granted the award of Practising Professional (PP) to its first forty five members. The PP award certifies that the member has completed a minimum number of acceptable continuous professional development activities that indicate that he/she has attempted to keep up-to-date in professional practice.
