With effect from this year, the Singapore Journal of Library and Information Management (SJLIM) goes green and open access. The LAS Council  approved the proposal on 8 May 2009. Vietnam handed over CONSAL Flag to IndonesiaMore than 800 delegates, including 300 foreigners from 26 countries, attended the 14th General Conference of the Congress of Southeast Asian Librarians (CONSAL) in Hanoi on April 21 to discuss ways of making libraries and information centres more dynamic and effective.
