Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Darussalam Library Association (BLA) began its first few series of customised library courses, according to a press release. The four-day `Cataloguing and Indexing' course, held at the SEAMED VOCTECH Centre in Gadong, is attended by several librarians from the Ministry of Health, Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and the Kg Tanjong Maya Secondary School.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 18 (Bernama) -- Seven of the country's libraries will be the first in Malaysia to offer online book borrowing through a programme implemented under the Information Technology Strategic Plan 2010-2013 launched Thursday.Malaysian National Library (PNM) director-general Datuk Raslin Abu Bakar said the seven were the PNM as well as the Intan Bukit Kiara Library, Negeri Sembilan Public Library, Pahang Public Library, Kuala Lumpur Library, Selangor Library and the Sarawak State Library.
